This mailing list is a small woodworking community made up of people from all walks of life and varying degrees of talent and experience and is open to all who are interested. It's also a home and at no time will anyone be allowed to use upper end vulgarity, offend anyone with regard to sex, race or creed. Further, there will be no commercial advertising and no political or religious discussion(s). ADMIN NOTE: Posts to this mailing list are restricted to subscribers only. New users may see a 5 minute delay before posting can be done. If you have multiple addresses, you MUST use the address you subscribe with for posting. It is still possible for SPAM to get through. Evil software is smart; compromised computers often use address books to figure out who to send mail "From" (forged), and where to, in order to get maximum effectiveness. Our filters may have trouble catching this. Therefore, do not complain to your ISP about spam on this list. Complain to the admins if you must; or unsubscribe. Anyone who complains to their ISP is risking having our list blocked to that ISP, from our server. If you find yourself cut off (or having reception problems then send a note to the list admins. In the mean time, you can follow along with the mailing list archives: PICTURES and ATTACHMENTS: Pictures and woodworking related attachments (like SketchUp files) are permitted. If you send your posts with any HTML we will reduce that down to plain text. UNSUBSCRIBING If you find you no longer wish to remain on the list, *every* single post has information on how to change your settings (including unsubscribing). Just look at the bottom. Using Woodworkers
To post a message to all the list members, send email to woodworkers@lists.sawdusters.org. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to Woodworkers
Subscribe to Woodworkers by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. Once confirmation is received, your request will be held for approval by the list moderator. You will be notified of the moderator's decision by email. This is also a private list, which means that the list of members is not available to non-members. Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription.
